Salima provides legal and tax expertise to international investors operating in Francophone Sub Saharan Africa. Her deep understanding of the African business environment and regional legal systems enables her to secure the firm’s clients’ operations in strategic areas such as corporate law, foreign exchange regulation (CEMAC, UEMOA/WAEMU), commercial and contract law – including the performance of petroleum contracts –, general and petroleum taxation, hydrocarbons regulation, and employment law. Through this multidisciplinary and cross cutting approach, Salima delivers tailored strategic support that addresses the complex challenges and specific needs of international stakeholders operating on the continent.
Background :
Building on initial in house experience in the banking and pharmaceutical sectors, Salima further developed her career within the Africa Projects team of the law firm Pinsent Masons in Paris before joining MLR Avocats.
